Most new people will join us as an Apprentice 1. After you successful prove yourself during the 90-day orientation period, we will automatically move you up to Apprentice 2 and raise your pay. You are now eligible for company benefits for you and your family!
We can’t have you stay at Apprentice 2 however. We train you to skill you up to Fuse Pipe, Operator Equipment or do Electrical Service Work. It is up to you the path you want to move. As you gain skills we pay you more! You can control that yourself by how much you are willing to learn.
If you show leadership skills, we will test you to see if you can run crews. If you can then you can move up to the Leadman position. You can then compete for Foreman roles or even District Supervisor roles.
We like to say we Pay a Bounty…if you learn we pay more.
